Yoga Book/Study group

Who: For those wanting to study foundational yoga texts with a group and Ti

When: One Saturday a month, 4-5:20pm.  All meetings will have at least a Zoom option, and possibly an in-person option if allowed and desired.

IF this course has already begun, it may still be possible to join.  Please contact Ti through the Contact page.

2020: June 20, July 18, August 15, September 12, October 10, November 7, December 5.

You may, of course, sign up even if you know you will miss some classes.  You can even sign up after it has started, though if it’s more than a month after it begins, please check with Ti to see if that’s OK.  Ti will be recording the discussions so participants can listen later if desired.

What: We’ll study The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Swami Satchidananda, a very readable and easily understood interpretation and commentary on this classic text on “the big-Y” Yoga by a knowledgeable and popular teacher of Western yoga practitioners.  The group will discuss and share their insights, and Ti will offer insights and perspective from his long-term study and practice.  The reading requirement will be fairly minimal (1-2 pages per day) but daily reading is strongly encouraged to fully imbibe the text.

Requested donation: $20/class or contribute what you can.  Remember, this amount is NEVER meant to keep anyone from attending regardless of their ability to pay or not pay.  Seriously open to all.

***Advance sign-up is required. Sign up online on the Contact Us page.***
